Kanz means treasure. Kanzé sweater
A project of handmade knitted pull-overs designed by Maya and fabricated by a group of Syrian women refugees based in Lebanon. These women are a treasure of kindness, resilience and expertise in knitting. For them, as long as there is yarn, there will be hope.
As a designer and Syrian woman, my goal for this project is to create the perfect fashionable pullover for a contemporary stylish woman with value, and to empower and give hope to these women who struggle every day for their families since war destroyed their country.
