Kanz & Kanze´

A project of handmade knitted pull-overs designed by Maya and fabricated by a group of Syrian women refugees based in Lebanon‭. ‬These women are a treasure of kindness‭, ‬resilience and expertise in knitting‭. ‬For them‭, ‬as long as there is yarn‭, ‬there will be hope‭. ‬

As a designer and Syrian woman‭, ‬my goal for this project is to create the perfect fashionable pullover for a contemporary stylish woman with value‭, ‬and to empower and give hope to these women who struggle every day for their families since war destroyed their country‭.‬
